We have designed 15 hiking trails within which you can see the Pohorje pearl Black Lake, a permanent exhibition from the National Liberation War and the fate of the Pohorje battalion fighters on Osankarica, Pohorje tourist village Kebelj, Šumnik waterfall with part of the primeval forest, Areh or Rogla, etc. Among other things, the only one of the many partisan hospitals called Jesen Hospital is preserved in this part of Pohorje, which is also in our immediate vicinity and easily accessible. EASY TRAILS

Easy routes include those whose difficulty is estimated between 1 and 2/5.

THE MEDICAL CORPS TRAIL

Pot, which is suitable for all age groups it takes us to the Partisan Hospital Jesen from the times of the Second World War. At Hotel Jakec you can hire a guide by prior arrangement, who will also show you the interior of the premises. The return is along the cross-country trail all the way to the ski resort, along which the trail takes us to the Hotel Jakec.

THE URŠKA TRAIL

Take the brochure at Hotel Jakec Urška and a card for collecting stamps on Urška’s path. Scan the QR code at each of the stops and Urška will invite you on a trip past the church of Sv. Three Kings, Veliki vrh, Urškin križ, Črna jezera, Osankarica and back to Hotel Jakec. Each stop will offer you a piece of their story.

THE KOS TRAIL

The trail starts with a descent through the forest in the direction of the village of Kot na Pohorju. The first attraction along the path is the monument to the National Liberation War, from which we continue to the right through the village. At Kosova domačija, turn along the marked path up the hill past Kosova pečine with a view of the vast plateaus of the Pohorje forests all the way to Črna jezero, Urškin križ back to the Hotel Jakec na Treh kraljih.

MEDIUM TRAILS

Medium routes include those whose difficulty is estimated at 3/5.

THE MILLER TRAIL

The path full of adventures will take you drive past the mysterious Jublar’s Cross, the mighty Ramšak’s linden tree, all the way to Kebelj where the remains of Zajc Castle will await you. On the way back to the Jakec Hotel, you can also stop at the National Liberation War monument.

QUIETLY TO THE QUIET LAKE

The path where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Pohorje forests will take you past Black Lake, Osankarica with the Museum of the National Liberation War, the last battlefield of the Pohorje Battalion to the beautiful, well-hidden Pacific Lake. You are going back the same way.

THE SHORT TRAIL TO ŠUMIK

From Hotel Jakec, the path takes us uphill along the ski slope all the way to Urška’s cross. From there, along the marked path, we surrender to the beauties of the Pohorje forests all the way to the parking lot above the Šumik waterfall. From there, a descent awaits us along the Lobnica stream all the way to the highest waterfall in Slovenia on granite soil. The route is very demanding in the last few meters with a descent along the steel cables. We go back the same way we came.

THE TINJE TRAIL

Pot prečudovitih razgledov nas ob moderate ascent from Slovenska Bistrica leads past the monument to the National Liberation War in Visole, the church of St. Peter and Paul in Veliki Tinj, Repnik’s chapels in the small Pohorje village of Rep on Pohorje all the way to the Hotel Jakec on Three Kings.

DIFFICULT TRAILS

Difficult routes include those whose difficulty is estimated between 4 and 5/5.

THE ŠUMIK TRAIL

To Hotel Jakec na Treh kings also leads the way from Ruše. In the first part, the path leads along the Lobnica stream past the waterfalls of small and large Šumik, which is the highest waterfall on the granite soil in Slovenia.

THE TINČE TRAIL

The path that takes you from It takes the three kings past Urška’s cross, Šumik Žigartov vrh to Areh, and from there you return past Tinčeva bajta, the Jesen partisan hospital and the Majsterhaus settlement back about the Jakec hotel.

THE TRIJE ŽEBLJI TRAIL

One of longer routes It takes us past Osankarica Treh žebljev all the way to Klopni vrh, from where there is a beautiful view of the Drava valley. From there, we continue to Šumik, where, if our strength allows, we can see the beautiful Šumik waterfall, which is about a 20-minute walk from the path. The path takes us back to the Three Kings past the Klančar monument and Urška’s cross.

THE URH TRAIL

On this route you will get to know historical sights of Pohorje such as Jublar’s Cross, Jakčev mlin, Ančnik’s fort, Church of Sv. Urha. You will get to know the Pohorje villages of Malo and Veliko Tinje, Turiška and Jurišna vas, Planina pod Šumikom.

THE FIR TREE TRAIL

Bistriški vintgar is one of the main tourist attractions in the municipality. The Bistrica stream enchants us with its beauty and sights along it. Roman quarry, Šum waterfall, Štampohar’s mill, remains of Marolt’s fir and more.

THE ZAJC TRAIL

Oplotnica is one of the youngest municipalities in Slovenia but full of beauty and sights. From Oplotnica, the path leads us past the church of St. Mohor and Fortunato to Kebelj with the famous remains of Zajc Castle. In addition, it takes us past Black Lake, Urška’s cross all the way to the Jakec Hotel on Three Kings.

THE GROMBERG TRAIL

Path on which they spread beautiful views of the Drava Valley take us from Zgornja Polskava over the often crowned most beautiful Slovenian village Kočno pri Polskavi, above which are the remains of Gromberk Castle. We climb through Šmartno na Pohorju, and past many ponds and streams all the way to Treh kraljev.

THE TRAIL TO THE TOWER

Pot na STOLP the tower is one of the longest paths in length. The path past Black Lake, Osankarica, takes us to the heart of the Pohorje forests, where we feel the peace and tranquility of Pohorje. After a few hours of peace and quiet, we arrive at the hut on Peska, from where we head to the tower on Rogla. Back to the Three Kings, the path leads us past the hut on Jurgovo down the ski slope and along the macadam road to Osankarica and the Three Kings.
