\n The Church of the Holy Three Kings <\/h3>\n

a beautiful sacral building built in the 16th century. In terms of design and architecture, we place it in the late guest-renaissance period, as assessed by expert Stane Gradi\u0161nik. \n Black lake <\/h3>\n

It is a pleasant excursion point, 3 km away from Hotel Jakec. Black Lake is the largest lake in Pohorje and lies between Osankarica and Veliki vrh. This artificially dammed lake belongs to the group of high bogs that usually form on impermeable clays and sands. It was built by Count Atems in 1840 for the purpose of hauling timber into the valley along the famous slides. The black color of the lake is given by a thick layer of sludge (organic waste generated as a result of the disposal of dead plants and spruce needles). \n Waterfall Sumik <\/h3>\n

It is a 24 meter high waterfall and is the highest waterfall on granite soil in Slovenia. It is located in the heart of a 19-hectare Pohorje primeval forest in an area where ancient and magnificent spruces, firs and beeches grow. The varied valley of the river Lobnica with both waterfalls (Veliki and Mali \u0160umik) represents an original and unspoiled environment, which is a real feast for the eyes. \n Bistrica Gorge <\/h3>\n

Along the Bistrica stream you will be able to admire the beauty of the natural environment and the remains of a Roman quarry, the ruins of ancient mills and the remains of the Marolt fir tree, which was the thickest fir tree in this part of Europe. \n Partisan Hospital Autumn <\/h3>\n

Construction of the hospital began in the second half of October 1944 (in the fall, after which it was also named). Documents mention that she received the first wounded on January 6, 1945. These were fighters of the Scherzer Brigade. The transfer of the wounded to the hospital was very arduous as they had to be carried over long distances and all traces trailed behind them so that the enemy would not track them down. They only burned in the barracks at night because there was a danger that smoke could betray them during the day. In cases of greater danger, when the enemy was nearby, they cooked for the hospital on Lepe's farm and from there brought food to the hospital.\r\n\r\nInterested in how to get to Autumn Hospital? \n Last battlefield of the Pohorje Battalion <\/h3>\n

The Pohorje Battalion was founded in 1942 and officially named in September of the same year. At the end of September, they came to Pohorje, where they were a thorn in the side of the Germans. On December 21, 1942, they set up a winter camp in Osankarica, which covered 100 m2. As early as January 2, 1943, the Germans found out the location of the Pohorje battalion and surrounded them in large numbers on January 8.
